Deep Learning PhD Researcher

London, United Kingdom Full Time

Are you a PhD doctorate who wants to develop groundbreaking technologies which others think would be impossible? Want to be part of an ambitious team and experience life at a startup? Want to be able to utilise your deep learning knowledge and experience to the real world issues?

If yes, then you may be interested in working for our client, who aims to apply supervised learning on unlabeled data to reach the same comparable standards to labeled data. This is an opportunity to be involved in building a human-algorithm interface, combining convnets, active learning, dimensionality reduction, clustering, visualisation, image retrieval and bayesian methods. Utilising the generality of convnets, will enable previously intractable applications in many visual recognition tasks, and beyond.

  • To develop solutions which will both improve our current products and allow us to create new products.
  • Contribute ideas to continuous improvement of the product pipeline for optimisation.

To be a problem solver and to create impactful solutions to current and possible problems which essentially could be scaled up to an industrial level.

  • Intuitively knowledgeable of machine learning and deep learning principles.
  • Experience working with large datasets and solid scientific programming skills (e.g. Deep learning, Tensorflow, Image, PCA, clustering, Convnets, theano)
  • Not necessary to have come from a computer vision background but must have carried out their own independent research which has been published at the top conferences/journals of your quantitative field.
